Kozminski University has granted its artistic patronage to the debut album by Dementia Praecox, a five-member instrumental band from Poznań, exploring the sonic landscapes of post-rock, post-metal, and experimental noise. This is yet another example of how Kozminski supports not only the intellectual and professional growth of its community, but also its creative pursuits.
One of the band members is Krzysztof Kuźmicz – a lecturer at Kozminski University, whose academic focus lies in digital business transformation and strategic management. As a musician, he plays the guitar and co-authors compositions in which emotion meets precision.
“For me, music and science are two different languages for exploring the world – driven by the same desire to understand. The band is a space where I can express things that don’t fit into charts and theoretical frameworks,” says Krzysztof Kuźmicz.
Aporia – a sonic journey into the unknown The debut album Aporia consists of four tracks and nearly 40 minutes of intense, multilayered music full of unexpected turns, immersive atmosphere, and attention to sonic detail. It’s a bold and thoughtful artistic statement – an emotional and sound-driven experience that lingers in the listener’s mind.
