Students of Kozminski University won the Marketplace 2026 Inter-University Polish Championships. The BeComps team took 1st place in the final of the competition, in which participants managed virtual companies in a simulated market environment. The final took place on 10–11 June 2026 in Kraków.
The winning team consisted of Juliana Suska, a Bachelor in Management student, Kacper Oleksowicz, a Bachelor in Management student, and Jakub Ostrouch, a student of Bachelor in Management and Law and Management in Business. The team was supervised by Dr Marcin Wardaszko.
Double success in the final
Another team of Kozminski University students also reached the final and took 5th place. The team included Adrian Woźniak, a first-cycle Finance and Accounting student, Maja Lewandowska and Aleksandra Jurzyńska (a Bachelor in Finance and Accounting students). The team was supervised by Dr Wojciech Strzelczyk.
The competition final was held on 10–11 June 2026 in Kraków. The top five teams out of seventy taking part in the qualifying rounds advanced to the final stage.

The Marketplace 2026 Inter-University Polish Championships is a competition addressed to students of first-cycle, second-cycle and long-cycle master’s programmes. Participants take on the role of teams managing virtual companies and make business decisions in a dynamic market environment, developing competencies in management, data analysis and strategy.
The success of Kozminski University students confirms the importance of practical teaching methods, including business simulations, teamwork and decision-making in conditions similar to real market settings. It is also an achievement that strengthens the university’s recognition as a place where future-oriented competencies are developed.
