Kozminski University students reach the TOP 6 of the EMEA Final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2026

20.04.2026

Kozminski University students have achieved another major success in the international CFA Institute Research Challenge 2026. The team, composed of Anna Blavt, Max Koshchuk, Aleks Rydlewski and Julia Woźnica, advanced to the TOP 6 of the EMEA Final, covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This marks the second-best result in Kozminski University’s history in the competition. This year’s team went through a demanding journey across all stages of the challenge — from the university’s internal selection round, through victory in the national final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge Poland, all the way to advancing to the EMEA Final.

As part of the competition, the students prepared an analytical report and valuation of cyber_Folks Group. This was a particularly demanding task due to the group’s complex structure, which includes cyber_Folks SA and its subsidiaries Vercom SA and Shoper SA. The university’s representatives then competed against the best teams in the EMEA region, first advancing to the TOP 15 and then to the TOP 6 of the regional final.

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is one of the most recognized competitions for finance students worldwide. Participants develop skills in financial analysis, company valuation, investment report preparation and presenting recommendations before a jury composed of market experts. The global final will take place on May 12, 2026, in Hong Kong.

Advancing to the EMEA Final confirms the high level of competence of Kozminski University students and the strength of the university’s practical approach to education in finance and investment analysis. It is also further proof that Kozminski University students can compete successfully with the best academic teams from around the world.
