Kozminski University hosted a meeting to celebrate the historic success of a student team taking part in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025. This is a prestigious international competition in which students from around the world take on the role of investment analysts, preparing professional reports and recommendations on selected companies.
During the event on campus, the students who so successfully represented Kozminski University in this year’s edition of the competition were formally honoured. The team – under the academic supervision of Franjo Mlinarič – completed all demanding stages of the challenge, from the local rounds all the way to the global final.
The meeting was not only an opportunity to present commemorative gifts and take group photos, but above all to express gratitude for the effort put into preparations and for the exemplary way in which the team represented the university on the international stage. Special thanks were extended to the entire Kozminski University community that contributed to this success – the team’s mentor, those who provided organisational support throughout the competition, and everyone who accompanied the students at the various stages of the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
Participation in the competition offers students a unique opportunity to develop their analytical skills, project-based teamwork, and public speaking, as well as to gain first-hand experience of the standards that govern the global investment industry. For Kozminski University, it is yet another proof that ambitious students, supported by experienced faculty, can compete successfully at the international level.
