The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the results of the Welcome to Poland 2024 call. Among the 39 projects awarded funding from 37 institutions is Kozminski University, which will receive support for the implementation of its project “GLOBAL WELCOME – Building Bridges.”

The Welcome to Poland programme aims to support the internationalisation of Polish higher education and science, and to facilitate the integration and service of international students, researchers, and staff. The programme is financed by the European Social Development Fund (FERS).

This year’s call attracted 112 proposals with a total value of nearly PLN 54 million, out of which 39 projects were selected for funding amounting to PLN 18.8 million. The awarded initiatives cover a wide range of activities – from the development of Welcome Centers, communication and branding initiatives, to mentoring programmes, staff training, and the enhancement of infrastructure and digital tools.

Kozminski University’s project – “GLOBAL WELCOME – Building Bridges” – focuses on building a coherent system of support and communication for the University’s international community. The aim is not only to enhance the quality of services provided to international students and staff, but also to strengthen Kozminski University's image as an open, welcoming, and globally minded institution.
