Kozminski University is expanding its collaboration with Microsoft. The new agreement aims to support the university’s digital transformation by integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. Microsoft will provide AI solutions that significantly enhance both educational and administrative processes at the university. The partnership, formalized in early 2025, focuses on implementing advanced technologies that will enable Kozminski University to fully leverage the potential of AI. As part of the collaboration, Microsoft will deliver a series of workshops on Copilot for Microsoft 365. These sessions will equip university staff with tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve both internal and external communication. Copilot will also assist in data management and team collaboration, enhancing overall productivity. The next phase of the partnership will involve identifying additional programs and solutions suitable for implementation across the university. Full deployment of Copilot for Microsoft 365 is expected to drive further automation and improve the efficiency of both academic and administrative operations. Kozminski University will also benefit from Microsoft’s support in data analytics, project management, and the development of innovative educational tools. With the integration of AI applications, the university will gain better access to information, improved data processing, and enhanced cybersecurity. Microsoft will further support the institution in designing a roadmap for key digital transformation initiatives. “Our partnership with Microsoft is not just an investment in technology — it is a step toward creating a more effective and modern educational environment. Integrating AI-powered tools into teaching, research, and university management helps us maintain our leadership among European business schools. It provides our students and staff with access to the technologies shaping the future across all sectors of the economy. This also empowers us to educate future leaders who are fully prepared for the challenges of digital transformation,” said Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University. This collaboration is not only aimed at enhancing digital competencies but also at enabling more efficient management of administrative processes and the implementation of modern teaching methods. “The collaboration between Kozminski University and Microsoft is a response to the challenges experienced by educational and business organizations in the face of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology. According to the latest Microsoft Work Trend Index report, up to 84% of business leaders in Poland plan to use AI agents as digital collaborators in the next 12-18 months. At the same time, nearly half of the leaders indicate the need to invest in the development of their teams' digital competencies. Although as many as 67% of leaders say they already have a good understanding of AI agents, only 30% of employees admit to having such knowledge. Our common goal is to narrow this gap and prepare teams for the challenges of the digital future” – said Ilona Tomaszewska, Public Sector Director at Microsoft. Microsoft technologies will help the university comply with legal and privacy regulations, while also increasing project efficiency and optimizing the use of informational resources — ultimately improving responsiveness to the evolving needs of the education sector.
