Kozminski University once again served as a partner of the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” Olympiad Grand Final. The event, held at the Legia Warsaw Stadium, brought together more than 4,000 participants from across Poland. The University supported finalists and laureates with scholarships and activities designed to develop future-oriented competencies.

Partnership for future-oriented competencies

The “Zwolnieni z Teorii” Olympiad Grand Final is one of the largest educational events in Poland promoting learning through action. The program develops future-oriented competencies through social projects in which young people respond to the real needs of local communities.

The event was attended by Olympiad finalists, teachers, representatives of partner organizations and institutions supporting the program. Kozminski University’s presence reflected its broader commitment to initiatives that foster entrepreneurship, social responsibility and leadership development.

Education through action and responsible leadership

Participants were welcomed from the main stage by Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and ESR and Dean of the College of Management at Kozminski University. In her address, she emphasized the importance of education based on experience, action and responsibility for one’s surroundings.

Projects carried out as part of the ‘Zwolnieni z Teorii’ Olympiad show that young people do not wait for change, they create it themselves. Through action, they develop competencies that will be crucial in the future: cooperation, responsible leadership, entrepreneurship and the ability to find solutions to real social challenges. At Kozminski University, we believe that education should support agency and the courage to take initiative,” said Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič.

Scholarships for finalists and laureates

As part of the partnership, Kozminski University awarded five scholarships to finalists and laureates of the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” Olympiad. The support covers tuition fees for the first semester of studies at Kozminski University.

The scholarship may be continued at further stages of education, provided that specific academic criteria are met. Detailed rules for awarding and continuing the support are available at: https://miliontalentow.kozminski.edu.pl/.

Discovering talents and designing the future

Throughout the day, participants could visit the Kozminski University booth to learn more about the educational offer, development opportunities and scholarship programs, take part in a workshop identifying their strengths and jointly design their future career path.

Kozminski University, one of the best business schools in Europe, develops education based on practice, responsibility and cooperation with its environment. The partnership with the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” Olympiad is part of this approach and supports young people who, already at the secondary school stage, learn project-based work, entrepreneurship and responsible leadership.
