This year’s Our Future Foundation Scholarship Gala took place on 23 June at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. From more than 500 applications submitted to the Our Future Foundation Mentoring Programme, the Foundation Board selected 28 scholarship recipients – winners of national and international academic competitions, young researchers, innovators, social activists, artists and athletes. Over the coming year, they will take part in an individual educational and development support programme.
During the ceremony, Professor Bartłomiej Nowak, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure and Administration and Dean of the College of Law at Kozminski University, delivered a speech and presented one of the prestigious scholarships. Kozminski University also funded a university scholarship for one of the programme’s laureates, supporting the development of young people distinguished by their talent, achievements and social engagement.
“Together with Our Future Foundation, we are looking for young people who stand out through their passion for learning, ambition and readiness to change the world for the better. At Kozminski University, we believe that supporting such talent is not only an investment in the development of an individual, but also an investment in Poland’s future. That is why we continue to develop scholarship programmes that help outstanding young people pursue their educational and professional aspirations,” said Professor Bartłomiej Nowak.
The cooperation between Kozminski University and Our Future Foundation goes beyond financial support for projects. It also includes the active involvement of University representatives as mentors, speakers and experts. The aim of the partnership is to create a space in which young people receive tangible support in developing their talents and pursuing ambitious educational goals.
