Kozminski University took 1st place in the Uczelnia Otwarta 2025 ranking and received the Gold Statuette in the category of private universities. This double distinction confirms the university’s high standards in accessibility, openness and building a friendly academic environment.
In this year’s edition of the Uczelnia Otwarta 2025 ranking, Kozminski University placed 1st among the universities with the highest overall score, regardless of category. At the same time, the university received the highest distinction among private universities – the “Uczelnia Otwarta” Gold Statuette.
The ranking is an initiative of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland. It promotes higher education institutions distinguished by high standards of architectural, digital and organisational accessibility, as well as activities supporting diversity, equal treatment and the full participation of students and employees in academic life.
Ranking and methodology
The assessment took into account, among other factors, architectural and communication accessibility, digital accessibility of websites and electronic services, support for people with special needs, anti-discrimination procedures, educational activities and the involvement of university authorities in developing equality and inclusion policies.
The results were prepared with consideration of the specific characteristics of different types of universities, which made it possible to compare institutions operating in similar organisational conditions.
Kozminski University’s double victory shows that openness and accessibility are an integral part of modern higher education. This distinction is important not only in terms of reputation, but also in practice – it identifies the university as a place consistently building an academic environment based on equal opportunities, social responsibility and respect for diversity.
