Kozminski University joins forces with the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce

Kozminski University has launched a new cooperation with the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce (CCIFP), aiming to strengthen ties between education and business. The partnership agreement was signed on April 8, 2025, in Warsaw by Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University, and Valery Gaucherand, President of the Management Board of CCIFP. The cooperation will focus on educational initiatives, knowledge exchange, and building bridges between the academic community and business practice.

The French-Polish Chamber of Commerce has been active in Poland for over 25 years and brings together more than 400 companies – from global corporations to local enterprises. The Chamber supports trade relations and investment between France and Poland and engages in initiatives related to sustainable development, innovation, and education. Its members represent a wide range of sectors, and the Chamber plays an active role in Poland's economic and social dialogue.

The agreement with Kozminski University includes joint organization of seminars, workshops, and events for students, as well as inviting CCIFP representatives to lead classes and hosting study visits. Students will gain access to the practical knowledge and experience of CCIFP members, while faculty and staff will benefit from new channels of information exchange and collaboration.

“As part of our long-standing efforts to deepen cooperation with French partners—both universities and companies—this agreement with CCIFP is a natural next step. We want our students to engage directly with international business, and we believe that modern educational programs must be co-created with those who best understand current market needs,” said Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

This new partnership aligns with Kozminski University's broader collaboration with the French academic and business environment. Among the university’s 227 partner institutions, French universities make up a significant group, including ESCP Business School (a strategic partner of the university), Montpellier Business School, KEDGE Business School, SKEMA Business School, and ESSCA School of Management.

Kozminski University offers double degree programs with several French institutions and conducts joint research projects, such as “EXIL – Sharing Experiences in Integrating Displaced Students” with Université Lyon 3 Jean Moulin and “Innovating Business Education for Responsible Global Minds” with KEDGE. The university also leads the EUonAIR consortium—a unique international project involving ESSCA, which focuses on integrating AI into higher education and university management across Europe.

The university also maintains active academic exchange programs with France. Each year, Kozminski welcomes around 50 students from French institutions, while a similar number of its own students and staff participate in mobility programs to France. French academics and institutional representatives are frequent visitors to the university, and lecturers from schools like KEDGE Business School contribute to international programs held at Kozminski.

Additionally, Kozminski University cooperates with French companies operating in Poland, offering training and development programs—including a certification program for 350 quality managers at BNP Paribas and leadership workshops for Faurecia Automotive Polska.

This new collaboration with CCIFP is another step in strengthening Kozminski University’s long-standing academic and business relationships with France.
