Kozminski University: A Hub for Global Management Education – Global Network Week Concludes

18.03.2025

From March 10–14, 2025, Kozminski University hosted Global Network Week for the first time, a prestigious program organized as part of The Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). Over the course of the week, 20 students from 13 top business schools worldwide explored business model innovation in a post-transformational economy, participating in intensive workshops, meetings with executives, and company visits to gain practical insights into the Polish market.

An International Perspective on Business Innovation Participants of Global Network Week engaged with Poland’s business landscape and its economic transformation through lectures delivered by Kozminski University’s distinguished professors and workshops based on real-life case studies. A key challenge of the program involved preparing practical recommendations for Wedel’s Pijalnie Czekolady, one of Poland’s most recognizable gastronomic concepts. By analyzing its operating model, students were able to develop innovative solutions for brand expansion and operational efficiency.

Meetings with Business Leaders and Company Visits A core part of the program involved insightful meetings with entrepreneurs and top managers, including Karol Gaweł, Tomasz Szataniak, Paweł Jarski, Łukasz Nowak, and Kaja Milanowska-Zabel, who shared their expertise and industry experiences. Students also visited Smart Kids Planet, an innovative educational start-up, and E. Wedel, Poland’s oldest chocolate producer, where they witnessed first-hand how one of the country’s most respected brands operates.

Kozminski University as the Host of Global Network Week Hosting the first Polish edition of Global Network Week marks another milestone in Kozminski University’s growing international presence. As the sole representative of Central and Eastern Europe in GNAM, the university joins an elite group of business schools that welcome participants to this prestigious global program each year.

By participating in the Global Network for Advanced Management, Kozminski University students gain access to unique educational experiences, international networking opportunities, and a global perspective on business management and development. The conclusion of this edition of Global Network Week reinforces Poland’s significance as a key reference point for future business leaders in a rapidly evolving economy.
