Kozminski University hosts the international CSCMP CEE Supply Chain Conference 2025

03.11.2025

On October 28, 2025, Kozminski University once again became the venue for one of the key logistics events in Central and Eastern Europe – the CSCMP CEE Supply Chain Conference 2025, organized in cooperation with the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), a leading U.S. professional association.

The conference brought together over 200 participants – experts, practitioners, and representatives of business and academia – who spent the day sharing knowledge, experience, and forecasts for the future of global supply chains.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, Vice-Rector for International Relations and ESR, Dean of the College of Management, and Prof. Sebastian Jarzębowski, Director of the Kozminski University Logistics Center and President of CSCMP Poland.

The opening session set a strong tone for the day, as panelists analyzed the current geopolitical landscape and reflected on how it may shape Poland’s position within the new global economic order. The discussion centered around strategic decisions that could strengthen the region’s role in global supply chains.

The warehouse session highlighted that automation is not only about technology but, above all, about data. Experts emphasized that even the most advanced systems are ineffective without reliable information. Another key theme was shared responsibility for cybersecurity and the crucial role of managers in building a culture of data collection and utilization.

The transport session focused on managing complex supply chains in the context of geopolitics and global economics. Panelists discussed technologies supporting the integration of various modes of transport – from air to rail – and stressed the importance of flexibility and cross-sector collaboration in facing global challenges.

The CSCMP CEE 2025 Conference clearly demonstrated that logistics and supply chain management are fields in constant evolution, whose future depends on the ability to adapt to shifting geopolitical, technological, and social conditions.

The organizers would like to thank all participants, speakers, and partners for contributing to this exceptional event!
