Kozminski University is among the universities contributing to the international publication “From AI Tools to AI-Ready Universities: Key Takeaways from the AI in Higher Education Summit. Executive Report”, prepared by ESCP Business School / ESCPTech Institute following the first edition of the AI in Higher Education Summit, which took place in Paris on 17–18 March 2026. The report provides a concise summary of the key conclusions from the debate on the impact of artificial intelligence on higher education.
The publication is intended as a strategic report for a wide audience interested in the transformation of higher education in the AI era. Its authors gathered key observations across six thematic areas, including governance, future skills, assessment, pedagogy, research integrity, and sustainability. The summary also identifies five major tensions that are set to shape the debate on the future of universities: between efficiency and educational purpose, speed of adoption and institutional trust, automation and human judgment, openness, and control, as well as scale and responsibility.
The report includes, among others, the contribution of Prof. Franjo Mlinaric of Kozminski University, referenced in the section “The EU AI Act as Strategic Lever.” The university’s expert emphasised that the EU AI Act may be seen not only as a regulatory requirement, but also as a strategic opportunity for universities. Institutions that treat AI governance as an element of organisational maturity and management quality can strengthen their competitive advantage as well as their position in the areas of accreditation and responsible development.
Kozminski University’s presence in the publication confirms the university’s participation in the international debate on the future of higher education, the responsible implementation of artificial intelligence, and new models of knowledge and quality management in education.
