04.05.2026

Kozminski University and Poczta Polska S.A. have expressed their intention to cooperate in the areas of management education, competence development, research projects, and initiatives supporting the exchange of knowledge between the university and its socio-economic environment. The letter of intent was signed by Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University, and Sławomir Żurawski, Acting President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska.

The cooperation may include, among other activities, the delivery by Kozminski University of tailor-made development programmes and postgraduate programmes for Poczta Polska employees, the participation of company representatives in courses, training sessions, and open programmes, as well as joint activities related to student events, career fairs, internships, and traineeships. The letter of intent also provides for the possibility of cooperation on research and implementation projects, the development of case studies, image-building, and communication activities, as well as support around strategic management and the interpretation of macroeconomic aspects relevant to Poczta Polska’s operations.

Poczta Polska is one of the institutions of significant importance for the functioning of the state, carrying out tasks in the areas of postal, logistics and digital services. The scale of the organisation’s operations, its presence across the country and the changing expectations of customers mean that the development of managerial, leadership and organisational competencies is becoming one of the key elements of its further transformation. Therefore, the cooperation may concern not only the development of managerial competencies, but also the creation of solutions responding to the real strategic, organisational, and macroeconomic challenges faced by large public and economic institutions. Kozminski University brings to this cooperation its experience in educating leaders, designing executive education programmes, conducting academic research, and cooperating with business and public institutions.

Modern organisations need leaders who can combine strategic thinking, social responsibility, operational efficiency, and readiness to act in conditions of change. Cooperation with Poczta Polska is important to us because it concerns an organisation of enormous significance for the state and the everyday lives of millions of citizens. We want to support the development of competencies that help such institutions operate effectively, responsibly and with the future in mind, says Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

The letter of intent assumes a broad scope of possible activities: from development programmes and postgraduate programmes, through participation in training sessions and open courses, to cooperation on student events, image-building activities, knowledge popularisation projects, and academic research. Cooperation designed in this way makes it possible to combine an academic perspective with the practical experience of a large organisation operating in conditions of intense market, technological and social change. It is also an opportunity to build a bridge between management education and real organisational challenges.

The effective transformation of Poczta Polska is not only an investment in technology and logistics, but above all an investment in people and modern leadership. Cooperation with Kozminski University is a strategic step for us towards the professionalisation of our staff and the development of a learning organisation capable of responding agilely to the challenges of a difficult market. I believe that combining Poczta Polska’s unique experience with the expert knowledge of the best business school in Poland will genuinely strengthen our leaders in the process of major change that lies ahead, emphasises Sławomir Żurawski, Acting President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska.

The signing of the letter of intent is aligned with the mission of Kozminski University, which develops education and research responding to the real needs of the economy, the labour market, and public institutions. The university consistently builds partnerships with organisations for which competence development, the professionalisation of management and responsible transformation are of strategic importance. Cooperation with Poczta Polska also shows that management education can be an important tool for strengthening large organisations – not only by transferring knowledge, but also by creating space for reflection, the exchange of experience, applied research, the development of case studies and the design of solutions responding to the challenges of the future.
