Kozminski University and EY Poland – a global leader in professional services, including assurance, tax and law, consulting as well as strategy and transactions – have extended their strategic cooperation agreement. The partnership, which for years has been bridging academia and business practice, is entering a new stage, encompassing additional study programs, joint educational initiatives and development projects for students.
EY Poland and Kozminski University continue their cooperation in initiatives that have a positive impact on shaping the education of future leaders. The firm also supports Kozminski University’s capital endowment – a perpetual fund that provides a stable source of financing for the development of research and education.
The new agreement provides for the continuation of academic cooperation in the Finance and Accounting and Tax Advisory programs, as well as an extension of the partnership to three new areas: Statutory Auditor, Strategic Management (second-cycle programme) and Management in AI. EY will also remain a partner of Kozminski University’s Talent Programme, which supports students who stand out through their achievements and leadership potential.
Thanks to the cooperation, students can attend classes taught by EY experts, gain insight into real advisory and financial processes, and benefit from mentoring and career development programs.
The Rector of the University, Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, emphasizes the importance of working with a partner that has for years co-created the ecosystem of modern management education: “The partnership between Kozminski University and EY Poland is an agreement of great importance to both parties. We are pleased that EY is committed to developing leaders in Poland and is charting new paths in building its brand – as an employer, but also as a business partner. We are equally pleased that the firm remains close to the idea of the University’s capital endowment, underlining how much weight it attaches to the development of future leaders in its strategy.”
As the Rector points out, the joint activities of the University and EY Poland combine a vision of socially responsible education with business practice. The projects implemented under the partnership include both teaching activities and initiatives that support ethical leadership, digital transformation, and sustainable development.
Dorota Kubiak, HR Director, EY Poland, notes that the key to long-term cooperation is a shared mission: “Together with Kozminski University we are developing an environment in which young people learn to think strategically, ethically and innovatively. We want to support universities that inspire conscious leadership and prepare students to operate in a world driven by knowledge and technology.”
EY Poland has for many years been involved in educational and social projects, combining business growth with the idea of partnership and responsibility. The firm employs almost 4,000 people in Poland and actively cooperates with universities and organizations that support the professional development of young leaders.
Dr Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Dean of Kozminski Executive Business School and Vice-Rector for Development and External Relations, stresses: “Cooperation with EY Poland is an example of a partnership that inspires and drives growth. Thanks to the engagement of the firm’s experts, our students gain practical experience, and the University strengthens its role as a space for dialogue between academia and business. Our joint activities in the field of education and talent development show that academic and business values can complement and reinforce each other.”
