Kozminski University and ESCP Business School, two prestigious European business schools, are strengthening their strategic partnership, which has been ongoing since 2015. Kozminski, as the Central European campus of ESCP and a long-term academic partner, is launching a new international track within its undergraduate studies – Sustainable Business. This innovative program responds to the evolving needs of the modern market by combining contemporary management with the principles of sustainability. Graduates will earn two diplomas—one from Kozminski University and one from ESCP Business School – significantly enhancing their competitiveness in the global job market.

The agreement to implement the joint program was signed by Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University, and Prof. Léon Laulusa, Executive President and Dean of ESCP Business School. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and ESR, Dean of the College of Management, and Prof. Francesco Rattalino, Executive Vice President and Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at ESCP Business School.

A modern program for future leaders in sustainable business

The modern world faces unprecedented challenges – climate change, evolving legal regulations, and increasing consumer expectations have made sustainability an integral part of business strategy. More and more organizations are adopting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, integrating financial goals with social and environmental responsibility.

The new Sustainable Business major is designed to prepare students to work in companies that effectively combine business performance with responsible resource and community management. The program emphasizes the practical implementation of ESG strategies, managing sustainability transformation, and identifying the key challenges organizations face today.

As Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič highlights, today’s business world requires leaders who understand that sustainability is not a passing trend but a fundamental shift in management approaches. Students will gain the skills to implement sustainability strategies and lead organizations that are not only financially successful but also contribute positively to the environment and society.

One program, two diplomas, six campuses

The new program has been developed in close collaboration with ESCP Business School, one of Europe’s top-ranked business schools, with campuses in multiple countries. Students will begin their studies in Warsaw before continuing their education at one of ESCP’s campuses in Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Turin, or London.

Participants will gain valuable international experience, allowing them to better understand the global challenges associated with environmental and social transformation. Upon completion of the program, they will receive a double degree from Kozminski University and ESCP, providing them with a competitive edge in the international job market.

Career opportunities in a rapidly evolving sector

Industry experts emphasize that sustainability-related competencies are becoming crucial for employers worldwide. Companies are increasingly seeking professionals who can integrate business strategies with environmental and social responsibility. Graduates of this new program will be well-prepared for careers such as sustainability consultant, CSR manager, sustainable supply chain manager, ESG analyst, or sustainable business strategist.

This program responds to the evolving demands of the modern job market and global trends in economic and environmental transformation. It will attract ambitious candidates from around the world who seek a comprehensive education, leadership development, and a commitment to responsible business practices.

A forward-thinking approach to business education

The Sustainable Business track, offered within the Bachelor in Management program, is just one of several available specializations. Students can also choose paths in entrepreneurship, marketing, or international management, tailoring their education to their professional goals. Regardless of their chosen track, students will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for today’s job market.

Expanding the collaboration between Kozminski University and ESCP Business School, and launching the new Sustainable Business major, marks a significant step in business education. It equips students with the essential competencies of the future. With an international perspective, a double degree, and a unique combination of management and sustainability, graduates will become leaders of change, ready to take on the global business challenges of tomorrow.
