Kozminski University and the CIC Warsaw Innovation Campus are launching a partnership. Its aim is to connect academia, business, and new technologies, as well as to support the development of startups, innovative projects, and future-oriented skills.

The partnership will focus on innovation, new technologies, entrepreneurship, education, and research and development projects. Planned activities include events, workshops, conferences, mentoring, incubation, and acceleration programs, as well as joint reports, analyses, and projects related to artificial intelligence, digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

“Kozminski University is a place where knowledge, entrepreneurship, and technology meet real action. Our cooperation with CIC Warsaw will allow us to take this energy beyond the University’s walls – closer to startups, innovative companies, and communities that are shaping the future of business,” emphasizes Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

The joint initiatives are intended to support the development of digital and entrepreneurial skills, while also giving students easier access to business practice, startups, and technology projects. The plans also include cooperation in the areas of internships, work placements, student projects, and activities supporting the internationalization of young companies and innovative ventures.

“Innovation ecosystems develop when different communities come together: entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, students, and business leaders. Kozminski University is a natural partner for us in building lasting relationships and effective cooperation. Together, we can undertake initiatives that will support the development of startups, new technologies, and the skills needed in a changing economy,” adds Jerzy Brodzikowski, General Manager of the CIC Warsaw Innovation Campus.

The cooperation with CIC Warsaw is also part of the development of new educational initiatives at Kozminski University, including the Master in Global Leadership & Geopolitics program.

In a world where innovation, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and access to data are becoming key factors of competitive advantage for countries and companies, the importance of skills at the intersection of business, technology, and geoeconomics is growing. The partnership with CIC Warsaw will help students and experts better understand the role of innovation in shaping the modern economy, as well as the impact of technology on global economic and geopolitical processes,” says Dr. Alina Landowska, Program Leader of the Master in Global Leadership & Geopolitics at Kozminski University.

The CIC Warsaw Innovation Campus is part of the global CIC network of innovation campuses, originating from Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The network supports the development of technological entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems. It creates a collaborative space for startups, investors, corporations, universities, and public institutions. Kozminski University brings to this cooperation its experience in management education, research, entrepreneurship, new technologies, and cooperation with the socio-economic environment.
