Kozminski University among the world’s leading Master’s in Management programmes

07.09.2026

Kozminski University has been ranked 43rd worldwide in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 ranking, climbing 11 places compared with last year. The University has also once again placed among the global TOP 10 for graduates’ career progress, ranking 7th in the world in the Career Progress category.

This year’s result strengthens Kozminski University’s position among the world’s leading Master’s in Management programmes. The ranking places the University alongside such renowned institutions and business schools as Imperial Business School (UK), University of Sydney Business School (Australia), ESMT Berlin (Germany), and Audencia (France).

The rise from 54th to 43rd place confirms the University’s strong upward momentum in this year’s ranking. Equally significant is its performance in Career Progress, where Kozminski University has ranked among the world’s top 10 for graduates’ career development for the second consecutive year.

Education that supports career development

The Career Progress Rank shows how graduates’ professional standing changes after completing the programme. The Financial Times considers, among other factors, their progression in seniority and the size of the organisations in which they work.

Kozminski University’s strong position in this category demonstrates that the outcomes of education extend beyond the knowledge and competencies acquired during the programme itself. One of the key objectives of the Master in Management programme at Kozminski University is to prepare graduates for long-term professional development and to enable them to shape their careers consciously and independently.

“What matters most to us in this ranking is what it says about our graduates. Ranking seventh in the world for their career progress shows that an education at Kozminski University delivers outcomes that extend far beyond the diploma itself. We want our students to be able to thrive in an international environment, take on increasing responsibility, and make the most of the opportunities that come their way. The programme’s overall rise in the ranking confirms that this model of education is competitive at the global level,” emphasises Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, Vice-Rector for International Relations and ESR and Dean of the College of Management.

The programme combines academic knowledge with practical experience. Students tackle real business challenges, analyse data and case studies, take part in decision-making simulations, and develop competencies in areas including strategy, management, leadership, negotiation and business model analysis.

Collaboration with business also plays an important role. Practitioners participate in classes and meetings with students, sharing experience from real projects and organisations. As a result, students engage with the challenges of today’s market well before graduation.

Two degrees and international experience

A distinctive feature of studying at Kozminski University is the opportunity to join double degree programmes, which allow students to combine their studies in Warsaw with education at a partner university abroad. Participants can graduate with two degrees – one from Kozminski University and one from the international partner institution.

This is not only an opportunity to study in two countries, but also a chance to experience different organisational cultures and approaches to business, while building an international network of contacts.

“World-class management education cannot be confined to the boundaries of a single university or a single country. We want our students to have access to different academic environments, business cultures and perspectives, and for their studies at Kozminski University to serve as a starting point for building an international career. Double degree programmes and collaboration with leading business schools around the world are an important part of this approach,” says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

The global dimension of the programme is further strengthened by Kozminski University’s membership in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) – a network of leading business schools from around the world established under the auspices of Yale School of Management. This gives students opportunities to take part in international courses, projects and initiatives delivered jointly with students from other member institutions.

International standards in business education

Kozminski University holds the three leading international business school accreditations – AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA – collectively known as the “triple crown”.

Since 2009, the University has been continuously featured in Financial Times rankings of the world’s leading business schools. Masters in Management is one of the key global rankings assessing graduate management programmes.

This year’s result highlights two dimensions of Kozminski University’s development: the programme’s increasingly strong international position and the professional outcomes of its education. Ranking 43rd overall confirms the programme’s international standing, while 7th place in Career Progress highlights its graduates’ professional development.
