Patryk Kuźnik’s thesis, Impact of national culture on ESG scores and acquisition premia in cross-country M&A, was selected as one of the laureates of the 20th Verba Veritatis Competition. The competition is organised by the Polish Association of Financial Enterprises, in cooperation with Kozminski University.
The thesis was supervised by Professor Dominika Wojtowicz, whose guidance and commitment were instrumental in achieving the project’s high academic quality. The Kozminski University community extends its congratulations to both the author and the supervisor - this shared success highlights the importance of ethical values in the world of finance and management.
The official announcement of the results took place on 11 December 2025 during the Congress of Financial Institutions at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. The event brought together representatives of the financial sector, experts, and academics, underscoring the role of ethics in business.
