International activities coordinated by the KU International Relations Office

In January 2024 KU welcomed two groups of students from France. Both groups came to our University within Short Term Mobilities – Winter School and International School. The former group came from Rennes School of Business and the latter from ICD Business School. Altogether there were approximately 100 students. The students participated in lectures, workshops and various cultural activities organized by the KU International Relations Office along with Welcome Point.

From 22nd January until 26th January 2024 a group of KU students took part in a Blended Intensive Program in Madrid at ESIC University. BA students took part in a course devoted to cryptocurrencies "From Bitcoin to NFTs, surviving the natural selection" whereas MA students took part in a course about marketing "Marketing & CSR". Our students gained new knowledge, skills and experience as well as gained 3 ECTS to the overall program of their studies.

We were able to learn, discuss, and debate about blockchain technology and the future of finance (DeFi) in a highly diverse and multicultural environment. This was a unique program similar to a crash course where you try to grasp as much knowledge as possible about a subject in a short span of time with the help of industry-experienced instructors and fellow participants. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Blended Intensive Program at ESIC University in cooperation with Kozminski University, said Shaheer Ansari – Bachelor in Financial Management student who attended BIP.
