The Central European Management Journal (CEMJ) – an academic journal published by Kozminski University in collaboration with Emerald Publishing – has reached another significant milestone in the international academic landscape. According to the recently released Journal Citation Reports (JCR) for 2024, the journal's impact factor has risen to 2.9, marking a more than twofold increase compared to the previous year (1.3 in 2023) and a more than threefold increase since its first inclusion in the JCR in 2022, when the impact factor was 0.9.
This represents one of the most dynamic increases in citation metrics among Polish journals in the field of management sciences, confirming the growing quality and visibility of the research published in CEMJ.
CEMJ is indexed in both Scopus and Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index). Since 2024, it has also been included in the prestigious Academic Journal Guide (CABS) and is listed on the official Polish Ministry of Education and Science journal list (100 points). The journal is published in a Diamond Open Access model – free of charge for authors and fully accessible to readers.
The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Professor Paweł Korzyński from the Department of Human Resource Management at Kozminski University. CEMJ’s thematic scope encompasses broadly defined management sciences – both in the public and private sectors – with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity and practical application of research results.
The increase in impact factor to 2.9 is not only a testament to the journal’s editorial and academic excellence, but also a recognition of the authors and reviewers whose contributions are driving its growth.
The Kozminski University community extends heartfelt congratulations to the entire editorial team and all authors publishing in CEMJ – this is a shared achievement of a research community committed to quality and international impact.
