The Executive MBA program at Kozminski University has once again been listed among the top 100 in the world, according to the British newspaper 'Financial Times.'
Ranked 51st globally, it is the first in Central and Eastern Europe and unparalleled in Poland. This achievement marks another significant international success for the Polish institution, which has been educating leaders for three decades. Kozminski University stands alongside renowned institutions such as the University of Toronto (Canada) and Singapore Management University (Singapore). The Financial Times published its 2023 ranking of the top 100 Executive MBA programs today.
The ranking, released today by the Financial Times, includes the best business schools worldwide, accredited programs with an international focus, commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues, research output, and alumni career progression. FT's rankings are based on official school data and surveys completed by graduates who finished their studies three years earlier. Once again, Kozminski University is the only Polish institution mentioned among the world's best.
This ranking is further evidence of the high-quality education provided by Kozminski University. In June, the university performed well in rankings for business schools offering open and custom executive education programs, confirming its status as the top choice for continuous education, career development, and competency enhancement – both institutionally and individually.
EMBA at Kozminski University
Kozminski University's Executive MBA program is the oldest of its kind in Poland, operating continuously since 1989 (established before the university itself). The 65th edition of the program has recently commenced. The curriculum continually evolves to align with the latest trends and accreditation standards, such as those set by AMBA. For several years, students have participated in week-long sessions at the partner institution, ESCP Business School. They also have the opportunity to attend classes at other business schools within the Executive MBA Consortium.
Executive MBA studies emphasize practical education and the use of new technologies while focusing on values. We tailor the program to the changing world. Alongside robust knowledge reflected in case studies, we aim to inspire our students, showing them how to manage and operate effectively, considering the world, society, and themselves, says Dr. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Dean of Kozminski Executive Business School.
ESCP Business School's EMBA program, offered in collaboration with six European universities, including Kozminski University, also made it to the ranking. It secured the third position globally, mainly due to its internationalization and the added value contributed by its partners.
Our partnerships with the best European universities are possible because we are in the same league, as confirmed by the FT ranking," says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University. Management education is dynamically evolving, and we are always at the forefront of these changes. I am pleased that our initiatives, such as those in the ESG area, which led to our inclusion in the Positive Impact Business School ranking, can inspire others and have a positive influence on our academic partners. Today's Executive MBA programs require a broad view of management. We teach our students to use hard tools such as financial analysis, Big Data, or IT, but also the philosophy of applying artificial intelligence and sensitivity in areas related to the environment, society, and corporate governance (ESG).
The top positions in this year's EMBA 2023 ranking were secured by programs distinguished by multiculturalism: Kellogg/HKUST, based in Hong Kong; Ceibs (China, Switzerland, Ghana); and the aforementioned program from ESCP Business School (France, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, Poland). The podium spots were achieved by graduates holding highly compensated senior managerial positions in companies operating in international markets.
