The Executive MBA program at Kozminski University has once again been ranked among the top 100 globally, according to the Financial Times.
Securing the 62nd place worldwide, the first position in Central and Eastern Europe, and maintaining its leading position in Poland, the Executive MBA program at Kozminski University celebrates another major international success. The university continues to shape leaders for over three decades, standing shoulder to shoulder with renowned institutions such as Denmark’s Copenhagen Business School (58th place), Austria’s WU Vienna (60th), UK’s Cornell University (64th), Germany’s Mannheim Business School (68th), France’s Audencia (89th), and Spain’s EADA Business School Barcelona (99th).
The Financial Times EMBA 2024 ranking includes programs from the best business schools worldwide, which meet criteria such as accreditation, an international program scope, engagement in ESG, academic publications, and the career success of alumni. The growing number of schools from the USA and Asia, particularly China and South Korea, makes the ranking increasingly global each year. The Financial Times rankings are based on official data provided by universities and surveys of alumni who completed their studies three years earlier. Kozminski University remains the only institution from Poland to be listed among the best worldwide.
This ranking of Executive MBA programs is further evidence of the high-quality education provided by Kozminski University. A few months earlier, the university ranked highly in assessments of business schools offering open and customized development programs, reaffirming its status as the best choice for continuous learning, career growth, and skill development—both for institutions and individuals.
Kozminski University's Executive MBA program is the oldest of its kind in Poland, running continuously since 1989 (even before the university itself was established). Currently, the 67th cohort has commenced their studies. The program evolves to keep pace with the latest trends and accreditation standards, such as those from AMBA. For several years, students have participated in a week-long session at the partner school, ESCP Business School, with opportunities to attend classes at other business schools as part of the Executive MBA Consortium.
The Executive MBA program emphasizes practical education and the use of new technologies while staying true to core values. The curriculum is designed to adapt to the changing world. "Alongside solid knowledge, reflected in case studies, we strive to inspire our students, showing them how to manage and lead effectively while keeping in mind the world, society, and themselves," says dr. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Dean of Kozminski Executive Business School.
The Financial Times ranking also featured the EMBA program offered by ESCP Business School in collaboration with six European universities, including Kozminski University. This program secured an impressive second place worldwide, largely thanks to its international nature and the added value provided by its partners.
“This year's evaluation came from alumni who completed their programs during the challenging times of the pandemic. It was a period that did not favor building relationships or holding discussions, yet the assessment of our programs demonstrates our strength and ability to deliver valuable education even in the most difficult conditions,” notes Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University. “This is especially evident in criteria related to alumni networks and career advancement—positive changes in job positions and the scale of organizations where our graduates are currently employed compared to their status before the EMBA. Our university ranks exceptionally high in these aspects,” he adds.
The top positions in the 2024 Financial Times EMBA ranking are occupied by programs known for their multicultural approach: Ceibs (China, Switzerland, Ghana), ESCP Business School (France, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Poland), and Washington University (China, United States). These programs earned their place on the podium thanks to alumni who hold high-paying, senior management roles in companies operating in international markets.
