European competitiveness begins in Warsaw. EU Week 2026 at Kozminski University

28.04.2026

From 4 to 8 May 2026, Kozminski University will host the international Blended Intensive Program / EU Week 2026 under the theme “Strengthening European Competitiveness: Innovation & Sustainability Bootcamp.”

The event will bring together students and faculty from European partner universities, including TUM School of Management, Politecnico di Milano, University of Amsterdam, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Estonian Business School, and Kozminski University. The program is delivered as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program, combining an online component with an intensive on-site experience in Warsaw.

EU Week is an initiative developed by European business schools, combining academic perspectives with real challenges facing the European Union. This year’s edition focuses on one of the key questions for contemporary Europe: how to build economic competitiveness while advancing innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility.

At the heart of the program is project work in international student teams. Participants will develop market-entry strategies for startups with a positive social and environmental impact, learning how to translate sustainability goals into concrete business models and competitive advantages.

The program will include lectures, workshops, expert meetings, and project work. Highlights include a welcome address by the Rector of Kozminski University, prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, as well as lectures and sessions led by prof. Bolesław Rok, prof. Lucia Tajoli, prof. Marcin Piątkowski, prof. Paul van der Noord and other academic leaders. Topics will include innovation, competitiveness, data, the future of education and positive-impact startups.

For Kozminski University, hosting EU Week 2026 confirms its role as an international hub for dialogue, knowledge, and modern management education. It is also an opportunity to present Warsaw as an important place for European conversations about the future of the economy, innovation, and responsible leadership.

EU Week in Warsaw is more than an academic event. It is an investment in future leaders who will help shape a more competitive, innovative, and sustainable Europe.
