Another month brings excellent news for the academic community and the world of research at Kozminski University. The National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the results of the MINIATURA 9 competition, in which a project submitted by Dr Zuzanna Staniszewska, researcher and lecturer at Kozminski University, has received funding. The grant was awarded for scientific activities related to preliminary research on the hidden meanings of inclusive leadership using visual methods.
The project focuses on the issue of inclusive leadership, which has become one of the key challenges faced by contemporary organizations. Dr Staniszewska investigates how different groups and individuals understand and interpret inclusive approaches to management, what hidden meanings and narratives accompany this phenomenon, and how they can be captured and better understood through visual methods. The preliminary results may serve as a starting point for developing new research tools and practical recommendations for leaders and organizations.
The MINIATURA competition is a prestigious programme of the National Science Centre, addressed to researchers embarking on new scientific paths. The grants enable the preparation of foundations for larger research projects, the development of innovative concepts, and the strengthening of Polish science in the international arena.
– Research on inclusive leadership is important because it shows that an effective leader is not only someone who manages tasks, but above all someone who is able to build a sense of community, diversity, and shared responsibility – emphasizes Dr Zuzanna Staniszewska.
The Kozminski University community congratulates and wishes every success in the implementation of this project, which perfectly reflects the University’s mission – “education that matters”.
