Dr. Olga Protsiuk, from the Department of Human Resource Management at Kozminski University, has received funding in the ninth edition of the MINIATURA competition, organized by Poland’s National Science Centre (NCN).
Her project, “Micro-behaviors in remote and hybrid work: a pilot study”, focuses on everyday, often unconscious rituals and habits of people working remotely or in hybrid models. The aim is to understand how these subtle behaviors affect employees’ effectiveness, creativity, and well-being.
“As the boundaries between professional and private life become increasingly blurred, I aim to better understand how people shape their daily rituals – often unconsciously – and how technology, particularly generative artificial intelligence, becomes part of these behaviors,” explains Dr. Olga Protsiuk.
The MINIATURA program supports individual scientific activities such as pilot studies, preliminary research, or research internships. It enables researchers to develop new ideas and prepare larger research projects for future NCN funding calls.
Dr. Protsiuk’s project addresses current challenges related to digital transformation and new models of work. Its findings may contribute to developing practical recommendations for organizations supporting employees in remote and hybrid work environments.
