Dr Leon Ciechanowski from the Department of Management in Networked and Digital Societies at Kozminski University has been awarded the Fulbright Senior Award 2026/2027. This prestigious distinction supports international research cooperation and enables scholars to carry out independent research or research-and-teaching projects in the United States.
A prestigious programme for researchers
The Fulbright Senior Award is addressed to researchers representing a wide range of scientific and artistic disciplines. The programme enables fellows to conduct independent projects at renowned institutions in the USA, while representing Polish science and culture abroad.
In the 2026/2027 edition, scholarships were awarded to 18 researchers from across Poland, selected through a multi-stage competition process. The laureates were expected to demonstrate academic achievements, active engagement in the academic community, language competencies, and the potential to foster international academic dialogue.
Dr Leon Ciechanowski’s distinction confirms the importance of research conducted at Kozminski University and the university’s growing role in international academic cooperation.
