We are pleased to announce that Kozminski University, in cooperation with Citibank Europe PLC, is organizing a Competition for the "Best Master's Theses in Finance, Accounting and Sustainable Development".
Purpose of the Competition
The competition aims to promote current trends in finance and accounting, as well as sustainable development in business, and to encourage students to explore these topics.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to graduates of the second cycle program in Finance and Accounting (in Polish or English) at Kozminski University, who have prepared and defended their master's thesis with a positive grade in the academic year 2024.
Formal Requirements
Participants are required to submit the following documents using the online application form:
- Signed application form (Appendix No. 1 to the regulations).
- Two electronic copies of the master's thesis (pdf):
- Full version of the title page.
- Title page without the author's and supervisor's names.
Deadline
Submission deadline: July 30, 2024.
Announcement of Results
The results of the competition will be announced on September 30, 2024, on the Kozminski University website www.kozminski.edu.pl.
Evaluation Criteria
Theses will be evaluated based on:
- Originality and innovativeness of the addressed issue (max 30 points)
- Content and applied methodology (max 40 points)
- Scope of primary and secondary sources used (max 20 points)
- Formal aspects of the thesis (max 10 points)
Awards
The following financial awards are planned for the winners:
- 1st place: 9500 PLN gross
- 2nd place: 6500 PLN gross
- 3rd place: 4500 PLN gross
