Kozminski University proudly announces the collaboration between two of its leading research centers: the Centre for Research on Social Change and Human Mobility (CRASH) and the Human-Machine Interaction Research Center (Human Race). This joint initiative is part of the #Link4Skills project, funded by the Horizon Europe program.
The two research centers will undertake a comprehensive meta-analysis to explore the complex relationships between artificial intelligence, automation, migration, and skill shortages—key forces shaping the future of global labor markets. As automation advances and AI becomes increasingly integrated into industries, the demand for skills across various sectors is shifting. At the same time, migration patterns are changing, and skill shortages are becoming a significant challenge in both sending and receiving regions.
The research aims to uncover how these powerful forces interact, influencing not only job availability but also talent mobility across borders. The findings will offer evidence-based insights for policymakers, businesses, and educational institutions to better understand the competency needs of the future workforce. By addressing these challenges, the initiative seeks to create sustainable solutions that promote both economic growth and equal opportunities, ensuring that no region is left behind in the rapidly evolving global economy.
A highlight of the collaboration is the involvement of leading researchers such as Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska, Konrad Sowa, and Prof. Agnieszka Bezat-Jarzebowska, whose contributions will be crucial in developing the AI-Assisted Skill Navigator. This groundbreaking tool aims to address global skill gaps and facilitate fair and sustainable skill flows across borders.
