Her research focuses on gender and diversity in organizations, with particular emphasis on higher education institutions, academic careers, institutional inequalities and access to prestige and power in science.

She is a recipient of the Scholarship of the Minister of Science for Outstanding Young Scientists, the ETIUDA doctoral scholarship of the National Science Centre and the Fulbright Junior Research Award. Her work has been published in international academic journals, including “Gender, Work and Organization”, “Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal”, “Journal of Computer Information Systems” and “Journal of Global Information Technology Management”. She also serves as co-editor of “Tamara: Journal for Critical Organization Inquiry”.

Dr Górska gained international academic experience, among others, at Columbia Business School and ESCP Business School. She has participated in and led research projects funded by the National Science Centre, the British Academy, EU funds, Norway Grants, and COST Action.

At Kozminski University, Dr Górska combines research excellence with active engagement in student development. She is an alumna and mentor of the TOP15 programme, supervisor of the Women in Organisations Student Research Club and a mentor at the Kozminski Business Hub. For several years, she also supported key strategic areas of the University as a member of the Impact, Accreditation, Rankings and Strategy Office.

Dr Górska’s election as Chair of the Polish Young Academy is not only a personal achievement, but also a strong signal that the next generation of scholars in Poland is increasingly visible, interdisciplinary, and ready to shape the future of science.
