The huge success of a Polish University in the world rankings. On September 10, 2018, the "Financial Times" published a list of the world's hundred best business schools in the field of management. Kozminski University held the 20th position.

What is the reason for the success of this Polish university, which exists only for a quarter of a century?

A great program, excellent lecturers and internationalization: these three elements are such a basis that every ambitious university must provide. We are also extending our offering - broader horizons, ethics, but above all, the entrepreneurial spirit. The rest depends on the graduates, they have the opportunity to transform their knowledge and skills into professional and financial success - says the Rector of Kozminski University, prof. Witold Bielecki.

The "Financial Times" ranking is headed by the Swiss University of St. Gallen, HEC Paris and London Business School. In front of Kozminski, there are 17 European and 2 Asian universities. On the other hand, following KU, we see well-known schools, such as: international Skema (25th), EADA from Barcelona (35th), Aalto University from Finland (46th) and the second Polish university in this ranking, Warsaw School of Economics (59th).

The "FT" ranking is based on the analysis of several factors, such as the quality of lecturers, the cost of studies, graduates' career, etc. The editors of this British daily, which has been publishing the ranking for 11 years, collect data from surveys addressed directly to graduates and universities.

Management at Kozminski University has already been recognized by the Polish Accreditation Committee, which gave it the highest distinguished mark. Studies in this field are carried out entirely in English, which attracts foreigners - every second student is from abroad. The same program is also conducted in Polish, for those that wish to study in their native language. Kozminski University is the only Polish university that has three major international accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. It maintains cooperation with over 200 universities around the world, which translates not only to the academic exchange of staff and students, but also to joint educational programs, resulting in the obtaining of a double degree between Kozminski University, and among others, ESCP Europe, a French university that is in the 5th place in the "FT" ranking.

The "Financial Times" also stressed on the high level of education at KU on the programs in finance and accounting. In the ranking of this program from June 2018, "FT" positioned KU at 17th place in the world, out of the 65 best business schools.

Business education is global. Today, management or accounting can be studied on an international and high-quality level in Poland, as in China or in France, especially since classes take place in English, and the same international vocational certificates are acquired during the course of study. Warsaw is a very attractive place to study for people from around the world, so the more our universities are recognizable in the world, the more foreigners want to study here. We are already teaching 1,500 foreigners from over 60 different countries - says the Rector of Kozminski University.
