Kozminski University, a leader in research! Prof. Aneta Hryckiewicz and Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, PhD were awarded the OPUS 17 grants by the National Science Center of Poland!
Over the past week, KU researchers have been awarded in several prestigious programs. Prof. Aneta Hryckiewicz-Gontarczyk, leader of the Big Data Analysis program, and Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, PhD and Dean of the College of Management, received scientific grants within the OPUS competition organized by the National Science Center of Poland.
Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, PhD from the Department of Strategy was the author of the first awarded project "Innovation of business models: strategies of organizational renewal in the era of the fourth industrial revolution". The research aims to understand how changes in the business environment trigger strategic renewal of Polish multinational companies.
The amount of the grant is PLN 491 876.

The second awarded KU project in the OPUS competition "Influence of new technologies on the banking sector in EU countries" is from Prof. Aneta Hryckiewicz-Gontarczyk from the Division of Economic Empirical Analyses.
The aim of the project is to obtain unique qualitative and quantitative information from the banking sector in order to conduct an empirical assessment of how the ongoing technological development affects the behaviour of banks, including profitability, risk and the credit market for SMEs.
The amount of the grant is PLN 549 892.
