'2D Art' exhibition - see our students' art!

On Friday, May 26th, 2023, the opening of the first exhibition, ‘Sztuka 2D’, of our Culture Club took place.

The project began in March this year when the recruitment for the exhibition among KU students started. Our academic community submitted over 50 artworks in total. These illustrations were then selected under the supervision of our committee consisting of Mrs. Maja Michalak, an art historian and founder of Poza Ramami, photographer Mr. Maciej Biedrzycki, and Mr. Artur Krajewski, president of the board of the Fundacja Sztuki Współczesnej NIESPOKOJNA and owner of the Art. Krajewski Gallery.

30 artworks were chosen for the exhibition, as a reference to the 30th anniversary of our university. Among them were paintings, drawings, photographic series, and computer graphics.

The art pieces of our talented artists were on display in our university halls until June 16th, 2023. You can see a virtual art gallery and read a few words from each artist HERE.

Culture Club was the organizer of the exhibition. The club gathers artists and art enthusiasts from KU, who want to introduce a bit of artistry to our university environment.

Thank you again to all the painters, photographers, and graphic designers! We hope that our future openings, exhibitions, and other events will also be a success!
