Applicants may choose from the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Russian – as a continuation of prior learning; or German or Chinese – studied from scratch.

In the full-time studies in English, students learn two languages:

  • Business English – for 120h, which are spread over the first two semesters of undergraduate studies. At the end of semester one, students receive a passing grade. However, the fourth semester ends with an exam: certificate or internal exam.
  • a foreign language of the candidate's choice – for 180h, which are spread over the first three semesters of undergraduate studies. At the end of semesters one and two, students receive a passing grade. However, the third semester ends with an exam.

The candidates can choose from the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Russian or Chinese. Foreigners studying at KU in English have the possibility to learn Polish.

She obtained her Master’s Degree in English Studies at the Institute of English Studies of the University of Warsaw (major: Contemporary British Literature). She completed postgraduate studies in Business English at Kozminski University and a one-year course in Law and Legal Translations at the School for Sworn Translators Textem in Warsaw. She also holds the Foundation Certificate for Teachers of Business English from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

At Kozminski University, she conducts classes in English for Specific Purposes (legal and business English) for both full-time and part-time students, as well as tailor-made conversational courses Boost Your English Skills and The Language of Business Meetings and Negotiations, both of which have been very popular among students. She also runs commercial modules devoted specifically to preparing participants for external certified exams, including TOLES (an exam in legal English at both Higher and Advanced levels) and Linguaskill.

She combines her role as an academic tutor with work as a language consultant, translator, and interpreter for companies from a wide range of market sectors, including finance, banking, insurance, law firms, and legal departments of corporations, as well as state institutions such as ministries, courts, and government agencies. In most cases, this cooperation has been long-term, which she considers a source of pride and satisfaction.

A foundation of her teaching is an individual approach to every student, ensuring that methods are tailored to specific needs and contexts. Passionate about cinema, she often incorporates authentic, idiomatic expressions drawn from films and series into her classes, making them more engaging and helping students feel confident and at ease in both formal and informal business, negotiation, and social situations.
