Job & Internship Fair

The spring edition was held on 11 - 12 March 2025 in Atrium D. The date of the fall fair will be announced soon.

It was a great opportunity to meet representatives of reputable companies from various industries, learn about internship and job offers, make valuable professional contacts, and find out what skills and qualifications are most in demand on the market.

Knowledge about companies Before participating in such events as fairs, it is worth considering your main aim, as having a lot of offers, it will be easier to choose the ones you are interested in. Prior to the event you can also take a look at the profiles of the companies that take part in it. It is worth paying attention to such aspects as:

  • What is the structure of the company, if there are departments that interest me?
  • What competencies the company is looking for?
  • What languages you need to know and what IT skills are required, if the company prefers experience and education in a particular field?
  • How to apply, what is the company's offer?

Based on such research, you can prepare a list of companies that you want to talk with.

Questions to the company Use fairs to ask questions. It is a good opportunity to talk to the potential employer and get answers for various questions about job offer or the company itself. You must know what information you want to get from the employer. You’d better not ask about earnings in the company or insist to present a concrete job offer. So what can you ask?

  • How does the recruitment process look like?
  • What is the organizational culture in the company?
  • What are the prospects of development in the particular department?
  • How does the program, that which you want to apply to, look like?

Present your skills It is necessary to prepare about one-minute self-presentation in advance, in which you identify your core competencies and experience. Have you already done an internship in a similar department - what have you learned there? Have you acted in the student organization - what it gave you? What knowledge did you gain during your studies? What can you do?

Fighting objections Think about your weak points in relation to your company or position. Look at yourself through his eyes. Try to prepare yourself for it and indicate how you work with your weaker areas, or how you can turn them into an asset.

Closing How to move away from the stand? Ask how you should take the next step and how you can apply, or make an appointment. Ask for a contact. Remember, it should be the icing on the cake after the conversation, not the purpose of it. Say: “Thank you for your time”.

Follow-up It's probably the most important stage. If you say that you will take some further steps - do not forget about it. Remind the company about yourself after 1-2 weeks asking, if your application arrived. If you have not talked to a person in charge, in your area of interest - you can ask for a contact to the right person. But remember - do not be pushy!

Remember that a smile and a positive attitude is a half of the battle. Most important thing you should learn from this text, it is to always approach the employer being prepared and with the authentic commitment. Avoid demanding attitude, arrogance and excessive pressing to the company. If you implement our guidelines, fairs will be definitely a fruitful time for you!

Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego (Internal Security Agency)

The Internal Security Agency is a special service established to protect security and constitutional order of the Republic of Poland preforming, among the others,  the tasks regarding: counterintelligence, countering terrorism and WMD proliferation, protection of the classified information, cybersecurity of communication and information systems, countering organized.

At the beginning of each year, a decision is made about the possible implementation of internships at ABW, including dedicated fields of study. Previous internships took place in September (4 weeks), were hybrid in nature and were free of charge. Detailed information will be presented on the university Career Portal after the decision to conduct the internship is made.

ARCHE GROUP was established through the development of the Arche development company, which has been providing professional development services since 1991. During this time, many interesting projects and investments have been developed. A total of more than 10000 houses and apartments have been built. The Arche Group also includes more than 20 hotels. The company's activity is not only the construction of houses, apartments, hotels or lofts, but first of all the rescue of historical buildings and giving them a new function. We give forgotten, neglected objects a second life. We restore their splendor. Preserving as much as possible of the historic character of the buildings, we create hotels, the styling of which refers to the original activity of the buildings.  Our historic hotels include the Żnin Sugar Factory, Uphagen Manor in Gdańsk, Łochów Palace and Manor Farm or Janów Podlaski Castle. Most of the Arche hotels operate under the Arche System investment system, registered with the Patent Office in March 2022. It is a proprietary system for investing in premises in hotel facilities.

Currently, the Arche Group has 1,700 employees working in a distributed structure. The headquarters is located in Warsaw, the hotels are located in various interesting places in Poland. Together with the Lena Grochowska Foundation, we help socially excluded people and people with disabilities. Some hotels have branches of the Foundation, where employees with mental disabilities run cafes and workshops for guests or local residents. In October 2023, the Foundation's first café in Warsaw opened on Jerozolimskie Avenue under the ToMy brand.

The Appeal Court in Warsaw is a judicial body with its headquarters in Warsaw at Pl. Krasińskich 2/4/6. Some of its departments are located in building D at 4C Inflancka St. and in the building at 33 Przyokopowa St. It was established on 1st October 1990. The scope of the Appeal Court’s activities includes deciding in the second instance appeals against judgments of district courts (the District Court in Warsaw and the District Court for Warszawa-Praga), which are issued in the first instance. It judges cases, especially in the field of: civil law (including economic, intellectual property, family and guardianship law), criminal law, labor law and social security. The Appeal Court in Warsaw also supervises the administrative activities of lower district courts, the activities of notaries and notarial self-government bodies, as well as the activities of bailiffs based in the appeal area.

Moreover, it deals with disciplinary cases of judges in the first instance, as well as appeals against judgments of disciplinary commissions issued in the first instance (in cases specified in the acts). The organizational structure of the Appeal Court in Warsaw includes a total of eight judicial divisions, six divisions dealing with the administration of the court, a press section, as well as independent positions (Data Protection Inspector, Representative for the Protection of Classified Information).

The Appeal Court offers wide employment opportunities: as a judge, judge's assistant, court referendary , court secretary, court recorder, inspector, specialist, and other positions.   The Appeal Court organizes free professional student internships and paid graduate internships.   We assure you that the Appeal Court in Warsaw is an attractive place to work, offering interesting and wide opportunities for professional and personal development.
