Kozminski University is part of the Huawei ICT Academy program, and this year we provide our students with the opportunity to participate in a FREE special summer camp. Thanks to this cooperation, KU's students will have the opportunity to not only benefit from the knowledge and experience of our experts but also have the opportunity to win special awards. Are you interested in business informatics or new technologies? Do you want to acquire new knowledge and skills in Cloud Computing, IT Security, or Artificial Intelligence from leading experts? If the answer to these questions is yes, then do not hesitate to sign up.

  • Artificial Intelligence Online Summer Camp'21 (Kozminski University) - Invitation Code: wsXwTM

Through this course, you will systematically understand the AI development history, the Huawei Ascend AI system, the full-stack all-scenario AI strategy,and the algorithms related to traditional machine learning and deep learning; TensorFlow and MindSpore.

  • Cloud Computing Online Summer Camp'21 (Kozminski University) - Invitation Code: 1qPBi3

Virtualization is an entry-level technology for cloud computing and a very important technology in cloud computing. This course introduces the knowledge of computing, networking, and storage related to virtualization, and introduces the features of virtualization so that everyone can quickly understand the field of cloud computing.

  • Security Online Summer Camp'21 (Kozminski University) - Invitation Code: gESQB4

The course provides basic configuration and maintenance for information security solutions of small and medium enterprise.

  • Big Data Online Summer Camp'21 (Kozminski University) - Invitation Code: dAZtMh

The course covers Big Data Development Trend and Kunpeng Big Data Solution, technical principles and architectures of common and important big data components, including HDFS, Hive, HBase, Flume, Spark, Flink, Elasticsearch and Redis,and Huawei Big Data Solution.

Awards for the students

Award criteria

  • Students participating in the Online Learning Summer Camp need to: - Log in to Huawei Talent Online platform and associate his/her account with ICT Academy. - Complete one or more online courses (one or more chapters); evaluation based on the accumulated duration of student for single account.
  • After the online learning summer camp, top 30 outstanding students will be selected for the award.

Incentive method

  • Students with the accumulated learning duration ranking top 1-10 will be awarded US$300 shopping voucher to Huawei store, the total learning duration of a single student account should be no less than 10 hours.
  • Students with the accumulated learning duration ranking top 11-30 will be awarded US$100 shopping voucher to Huawei store, the accumulated learning duration of a single student account should be no less than 5 hours.
  • Huawei will distribute the awards and incentive via HALP (S4E) to ICT Academies, the awards and incentive should be managed independently by ICT Academies to the award-winning students.

*Note: A student account can only be eligible for only one award

Anna Kovbasiuk

Anna Kovbasiuk is pursuing her scientific career as a Ph.D. student at Kozminski University under the supervision of Prof. Dariusz Jemielniak, Ph.D. and student of Cognitive Neuroscience in SWPS University in Warsaw.

Currently she is conducting “Big Data and Algorithms”, “Data visualization”, “Statistics for Machine Learning”, “Introduction to Python”, “Introduction to Online Analysis and Data Mining”, and “Customer/User Experience” workshops and seminars in Kozminski University. She is also developing her expertise in the domain of human-computer interaction and neuroscience by conducting research with the help of various behavioral and psychophysiological measures such as MRI, EEG, EMG, EDA, and eye-tracking.

Phd Karol Chlasta

Karol Chlasta, M.A., is a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Management in Digital and Networked Societies, doctoral student in information technology at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, researcher, and academic teacher. Besides a scientific focus, he is also a certified specialist, consultant, and IT manager. Karol Chlasta graduated from economic informatics at the Cracow University of Economics (2008) and postgraduate business analytics studies in the Division of Information Technology at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology (2015). He continues to participate in international programs and practices in the UK, France, Finland, among other places. In 2006, he received the scholarship of the Polish Minister of National Education and Sport for the best students in Poland. He has ten years of experience in management at various levels in IT and financial departments of such organizations as HP, IBM, MicroStrategy, Royal Bank of Scotland, or Brown Brothers Harriman. Currently, Karol Chlasta is a senior manager at Aviva; he is responsible for the development of financial systems and IT vulnerability management.
