The EUonAIR European University Holistic Mobility Support Center is the applied project of the CRASH Center for Research on Social Change and Human Mobility at Kozminski University. It builds on advanced research tools and methodologies developed under the National Science Center (NCN) OPUS project "BigMig", specifically adapting the "My Migration Dashboard" into an academic mobility-specific version called "My Mobility Dashboard" tailored for student and staff academic mobility across the EUonAIR alliance and beyond.

Project Integration: From Research to Practice

  • CRASH applies research from BigMig to guide practical interventions in academic mobility.
  • My Migration Dashboard, originally designed for analysing migration patterns and experiences, is being transformed into My Mobility Dashboard (www.mymobility.academy), providing:

- Real-time, data-driven insights for mobility planning and making sense of mobility after return, - Tools to assess and reflect on learning and skill acquisition through international experiences, - Support mechanisms for return mobility, a phase often neglected in mobility frameworks.

EUonAIR Holistic Mobility Support Center: Key Features

Outlined as one of the five inter-university structures of EUonAIR, the Holistic Mobility Support Center includes:

  • AI-Assisted International Mobility Navigator: Personalized planning tools to guide students and staff in selecting mobility opportunities aligned with academic and personal goals.
  • Return Mobility Assessment Unit: Integrated into My Mobility Dashboard, it evaluates competencies and growth acquired during mobility, connecting returnees with new educational or professional pathways.
  • Hybrid counselling services: Combines virtual and physical support for logistics like visas, accommodation, health insurance, and integration support.

Activities

a. Enhancing Erasmus+ and Mobility This component focuses on improving the overall framework and resources for international academic mobility:

  • Strengthening funding mechanisms ensures that more students and staff can participate in mobility programs.
  • Advocating for increased Erasmus+ allocations aims to expand access and opportunity.
  • Promoting associate partner engagement leverages broader networks to diversify mobility pathways and partnerships.

b. Adapting the MyMobility.academy Dashboard This pillar transforms the existing My Migration Dashboard into a mobility-specific tool, providing:

  • Customized assessment tools for personalized, real-time feedback during and after mobility.
  • Data-driven insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement of mobility strategies.

c. Structural Activities These activities are divided into pre- and post-mobility phases, offering comprehensive guidance and reflection:

BOOST YOUR MOBILITY (Pre-Mobility)

  • Assists students and staff with program selection based on academic and career goals.
  • Provides information on funding options and potential career impacts.
  • Includes interactive workshops and AI-driven tools to enhance preparation and planning.

MAKE SENSE OF YOUR MOBILITY (Post-Mobility)

  • Encourages reflection on international experiences to derive personal and professional meaning.
  • Supports the translation of those experiences into career assets.
  • Utilizes MyMobility.academy to map out skills gained and connect them to future opportunities.

d. Mobility-Enhanced Career Advisory Services This section ensures that mobility is fully integrated into professional development:

  • Offers personalized career counseling tailored to each participant’s experiences.
  • Helps integrate mobility achievements into CVs, emphasizing skills and competencies acquired abroad.

e. Full Integration into MyAI Virtual University The final structural activity ensures that mobility is embedded within the broader MyAI University, EUonAIR’s virtual university:

  • Provides an AI-powered, immersive environment for planning, learning, and reflection.
  • Promotes accessibility and personalization, making mobility more inclusive for students with diverse needs.
  • Supports lifelong learning and long-term career impact, reinforcing the idea that mobility is not just a temporary experience but part of an ongoing educational journey.
