Fulbright Program

!INFORMATION MEETING!

The Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission organizes an online information meeting on May 22nd at 3:00 PM. The meeting will be led by the program coordinators. REGISTRATION

The Fulbright Program is a prestigious academic exchange program established in the USA in 1946, aimed at promoting international cooperation and mutual understanding in the post-WWII world. It operates in over 160 countries, including Poland, which became the first Central and Eastern European country to join the program in 1959. In Poland, the program is managed by the Polish-American Fulbright Commission, an organization established by agreement between the governments of Poland and the United States. The Commission supports academic and cultural exchange, fosters talent, shapes future social leaders, and builds lasting connections between institutions in both countries. The program offers Polish citizens opportunities to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees, as well as to conduct research or teaching projects in the USA, and it has a network of over 5,000 alumni.

A Fulbright scholarship provides:

1
• The opportunity to establish collaboration with a selected university or research institution in the USA.
2
• The possibility to conduct independent research or teaching projects in the USA.
3
• Participation in additional Fulbright Program events during the stay in the USA.
4
• The chance to expand academic and personal networks, travel, and experience American culture.
