Poland's Economy - Current Situation and Main Challenges,
which will be held on October 28, 2024 from 16:00 - 17:30 at our University in room D/218.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the current state of the Polish economy and the prospects it faces in the near future. The pretext for the event is the recent visit of the International Monetary Fund mission to Poland which assess the macroeconomic stability of our country.
Among experts from at home and abroad, we will consider whether the relatively rapid economic growth we are currently observing in Poland will prove sustainable and what challenges the policy makers must realize. There will certainly be a discussion of persistently elevated inflation and the fiscal strategy recently presented by the government.
