As of 10 May, almost 6 million people have left Ukraine due to the ongoing war. Poland is hosting more than 3 million refugees. While solidarity and unity have been reiterated by the host countries and EU institutions, the reception of refugees from Ukraine also exposed inequality, racism, and historically embedded vulnerabilities. During this seminar, two experts on migration engage in dialogue and invite us to critically reflect on the political narrative surrounding the reception of migrants from Ukraine in Central Europe.
