Geopolitical Changes and Their Impact on Economic Development

We are delighted to invite you to participate in an international academic conference featuring Nobel Laureate Professor Eric Maskin

Geopolitical Changes and Their Impact on Economic Development

organised to mark the 25th anniversary of the TIGER Research Centre for Transformation, Integration and Globalisation.

We live in times of profound and dynamic transformation. Global power rivalries, trade wars, armed conflicts, the energy transition, the accelerating development of digital technologies, as well as migration and climate crises are radically reshaping the conditions under which economies operate. These processes influence not only national strategies, but also business prospects, financial stability, and the directions of social development. These are issues that deserve — and demand — thoughtful discussion.

The event will bring together distinguished economists, scholars, and practitioners, including Nobel Laureate Professor Eric Maskin. It will be a unique opportunity to reflect, in esteemed company, on how geopolitical shifts are affecting the global economy and what lessons the first quarter of the 21st century offers for the future of Poland, Europe, and the world.

We warmly invite you to join us for inspiring keynote speeches, engaging debates, and informal conversations.
