EcoCraft Day powered by Microsoft & TAURON!

Kozminski University and Unep/GRID-Warsaw Center are proud to invite you for the first EcoCraft Day powered by Microsoft and TAURON!

Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world and it is also the most sold computer game in history. Therefore, it is no surprise that it could also be implemented for other pursposes than recreation, e.g. making the world a greener and more sustainable place!

EcoCraft is a project, which puts urban planning decisions into the hands of players, recreating the real world with three-dimensional bricks. With the add-on's new module users will be able to create the cities of the future by taking into account environmental factors, among other things.

If you have a basic understanding of programming then you should know that as part of this event we will also be recruiting ambitious students, who will become the next generation of programmers for this ambitious project as part of the EcoCraft hackathon, which will take part after the event! We have prepared a series of workshops that will be a good kick-off for your future projects!
