Anna Górska, Ph.D.

(Assistant Professor, Kozminski University, Poland)

Anna Górska, is a Assistant Professor at Kozminski University, and a director of Women and Diversity in Organizations Research Center.
Anna Górska specializes in gender and diversity in organizations and higher education institutions. 
Her works have been published in international academic journals such as Accounting,  Auditing & Accountability Journal, Baltic Journal of Management, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Global Information Technology Management. Anna has participated as a principal investigator and researcher in multiple research grants funded by Polish National Center of Science, EU funds and Norwegian Funds. She has also been awarded scholarships and awards, including Fulbright Junior Research Award. She has gained her international experience as a visiting scholar at Columbia Business School and ESCP Business School. 
Anna is also involved in organizational work at KU as an Impact Manager, expert on antidiscrimination initiatives at KU and a head of Students Association Women in Organizations. 

Prof. dr hab. Dariusz Jemielniak
prof. Dariusz Jemielniak

Dariusz Jemielniak, Ph.D. is a Full Professor of Management at Kozminski University where he heads MINDS (Management in Networked and Digital Societies) department and faculty associate at Berkman-Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University (USA). In 2015 he joined Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. He is an author of “Common Knowledge?” (2014, Stanford University Press, winner of Dorothy Lee Award for Outstanding Scholarship in the Ecology of Culture in 2015, and the Chair of the Polish Academy of Sciences academia award in 2016). He had annual appointments at Cornell University (2004-2005), Harvard University (2007, 2011-2012, 2015-2016), University of California Berkeley (2008). He regularly publishes in the leading, JCR-listed academic journals of the discipline. He also published books at Palgrave, Edward Elgar, or Ashgate. Fulbright scholar, "Polityka" grant recipient, and also a winner of a dozen of other academic merit awards.

  1. Assistant professor and Head of the Department of Quantitative Methods & Information Technology, Director of MBA for IT at Kozminski University and Adjunct Professor at University of Applied Science Vorarlberg. 2003 trainer and developer of simulation games and gamification systems for education, business, and consulting. Author of many publications on games-based learning and serious game design. Passionate game designer, author, and co-author of around 60 scientific publications. Fellow at Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning and President of International Simulation and Gaming Association (2019-2020) and Member of SAGSAGA. Laureate of the CEEMAN 2019 Champion in Teaching Award for innovative VR game-based learning program. He is actively teaching, researching, and publishing on the field of games and gaming for learning, teaching, and engaging people. An enthusiastic supporter of games and gamification and a member of the gamification experts network, he believes that games and gamification will change how we learn and work.
