Division of Health Economics and Healthcare Management

The mission of the Department of Health Economics and Health Care Management is to conduct scientific activities that support the pursuit of improvement in the health of the general public through the search for optimal allocation of financial resources available in the health care sector.

The primary goal of the Department is to support decision-making processes in the health care sector based on reliable and credible economic analyses. In particular, the Department is interested in collecting and analyzing data on the use of health services, the economic effectiveness of new treatment methods and the efficiency of organizations in the health sector.
