Associate Professor

Justyna Salamońska – Associate professor in the Department of Management in Networked and Digital Societies, principal investigator on the OPUS MultiData project, which analyses multiple migrations using social surveys and big data. Coordinator of the Standing Committee Methodological Approaches and Tools in Migration Research (Meth@Mig) within the IMISCOE international network of migration scholars.

Her research and teaching interests include contemporary migrations in Europe, multiple migrations, migrant labour market integration, cross-border mobilities, quantitative and qualitative research methods. She authored articles in international journals in migration field (including International Migration, International Migration Review, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies) and co-edited books published by Policy Press and Springer.

She received herPhD from Trinity College Dublin where she also completed a postgraduate diploma in statistics. She carried out research and taught at Trinity College Dublin, University of Chieti-Pescara, European University Institute and University of Warsaw. She acted as a principal investigator in nationally funded projects (NCN Sonata Bis Multimig project) and as the Polish team leader in European projects (Cross-Migration, Con3Post, POW-Bridge projects).
