Professor Jan Chmielewski is Secretary of the Department of Administrative and Public Business Law and legal counsel; he holds a Ph.D. in legal sciences. He works at the Judicial Decisions Bureau of the Supreme Administrative Court. Chmielewski specializes in administrative and administrative court proceedings and administrative law (constitutional and substantive), including forest and environmental protection law. He authored many glosses, monographs, and scientific articles. Moreover, Chmielewski participated in scientific projects financed by institutions such as Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development and National Science Centre.
Scientific projects:
– The Potential for the Development and Implementation of Vacuum Railway Technology in Poland in the Social, Technical, Economic and Legal Context, “GOSPOSTRATEG HYPERLOOP” (May 1, 2019–April 30, 2020); the project was funded by Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development; the project included the analysis of environmental protection law regulations relevant to the introduction of a low-pressure railway (hyperloop) in Poland.
– Wolność gospodarcza w prawie krajowym w świetle wymogów prawa europejskiego (Economic Freedom in National Law and in the Light of European Law Requirements), implemented in 2013–2016 within statutory activity of Kozminski University.
