Professor Adam Noga teaches in and heads the Department of Economics. His scientific interests focus on the problems of the theory of enterprises and competition. He was the first winner of the Citi Handlowy Bank Award for outstanding achievements in finance and economics. Moreover, Noga is the winner of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics Collegium of Business Administration Award for the best business book. Since 2011, he has been a member of the Expert Board of Poland’s National Science Centre. Since 1987, he has been a member of the Ekonomista (Economist) journal editorial board. He is also a member of the research team that develops the Balanced Development Index at Kozminski University. Noga authored reports on the privatization of Polish economy in 1996–1999. He wrote seven books, co-authored fifteen others, and published over a hundred scientific articles in JCR-listed journals.
