Szymon Krajnik MA is Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Law and Judicial Assistant in the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court. He won the competition for the best master’s thesis in the Faculty of Law and Administration at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Moreover, he was the best law graduate of this university in 2009. During his master studies, he was a two-time scholar of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. He has participated and spoke at many scientific conferences. He is the author of schemes and practical guidelines for the Code of Criminal Procedure in the framework of the “Lex Navigator” project by Wolters Kluwer Polska (since 2012). He authored and co-authored publications in the field of criminal law, forensic science, and disciplinary law; he is also the author of a commentary to the Petty Offences Code (ed. J. Lachowski). He is a legal counsel (non-practicing), lecturer at the Warsaw Bar Association, and student mentor in the TOP 15 program (in the academic year 2020/2021).
Research interests: criminal law, petty offences law, and disciplinary law.
