Paweł Wnuczak, Ph.D., in scientific work deals with corporate finance, with a particular focus on the issues of value-based management and controlling systems. He participated in scientific conferences on corporate finance management and authored many reviewed articles published in, among other places, Finance Research Letters, Eastern European Economics, Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja, Contemporary Economics, and the Journal of Management and Business Administration: Central Europe. He authored the book Controlling w instytucjach kultury (Controlling in Cultural Institutions). He was a researcher in the grant of Poland’s National Science Centre entitled “Decyzje lokalizacyjne dotyczące placówek bankowych - konsekwencje dla banków i lokalnej aktywności gospodarczej” (Location Decisions Concerning Bank Branches: Consequences for Banks and Local Economic Activity). In 2014, he received the Award of Minister of Science and Higher Education for scientific achievements (doctoral thesis) being the basis to grant a doctoral degree. In 2017, he received the Kozminski University Award for scientific achievements.
