My name is Jakub Szaro, and I am a second-year Management student at Kozminski University, a mentor for youth projects, a participant in the 21st edition of the Responsible Business League, and a graduate of the 5th edition of the Warsaw Academy of Young Leaders (WAML). For the past 5 years, I have been actively involved in social initiatives. I have collaborated with organizations such as the Youth Parliament of the Republic of Poland (PMRP), the Polish Council of Youth Organizations (PROM), the Zwolnieni z Teorii Foundation, the Civis Polonus Foundation, the Pole Dialog Foundation, the Econverse Foundation, the Copernicus Science Center, the Warsaw Zoo, and radiopraga.pl.
For my efforts, I was honored with the Award of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw for young people involved in civil society, named after Tadeusz Mazowiecki, for "volunteer work, supporting people with disabilities, and educating Warsaw students on cybersecurity." In the future, I aim to pursue a career in research, supporting the collaboration between the worlds of academia and business.
I am glad that the Kozminski Foundation appreciates and supports the efforts of engaged students!
